About the Dean’s Excellence Fund

Gifts made to the Dean’s Excellence Fund allow the dean to allocate support strategically as opportunities arise. Our strategic needs include:

  • Scholarships for tuition and fees
  • Student Emergency Fund
  • Student travel
  • Faculty research
  • Lectures, exhibits, and other cultural programming
  • Investments in new initiatives

Additionally, funds may cover other areas that help us meet our goal to make design education as vivid as possible.

Membership to both the college’s Dean’s Circle and Alumni on the Rise are based on the fiscal year gifts are made.

To maintain membership, gifts must be made every fiscal year, July 1–June 30.

All giving communities receive access to unique, invitation-only events in the college. Contact Senior Director of Advancement Pamela Cannella Treacy for more information.
