This is where passion and experimentation collide. Your creative education is dedicated to meaningful action. Our research-intensive institution is a place you can immerse into ideas and ways of making that expand the boundaries of architecture. Whether prototyping experimental material assemblies, designing shelters in Haiti, building structures for the public good, studying urban development, or reshaping skylines, our goal is to make an impact.
The core of our curriculum is the studio, which is both a place for creative inquiry and method of teaching. Here, knowledge emerges from iterative processes. Theories and ideas are intertwined with ways of making. In studio courses, students and faculty work in close collaboration through workshops, presentations, discussions, and collaborative critical discussion.
